Recommended Genealogy Book

So far, all of the books that I have recommended on this blog have been history books; however, I have decided to recommend a genealogy book that I read when I first started doing genealogy. (I am in no way connected to this author or any authors of any books that I recommend.)

A very good beginner's genealogy book is Unpuzzling Your Past by Emily Anne Croom (Betterway Books: Cincinnati, Ohio, 2003).

This book is, as I stated before, a how-to book for beginners, even though there are many great tips in the book. The book is focused on records in the United States. (On another day, I'll recommend other genealogy books on other countries.)
