Does anyone know when the Michigan 1897 to 1920 deaths will be posted? I read in the latest Michigan Genealogist Newsletter that the death records were supposed to be posted in October, but of course, that never happened. Has anyone heard or know anything about the project? Thanks.
There's a Library of MI site explaining where the search is located on their site. http://www.michigan.gov/documents/hal/Seeking_Michigan_Death_Records_255245_7.pdf
I'm going to try it out now - apparently there are very few records on line.
For a while, Ancestry's e-newsletter and its website both proclaimed those death records would be "coming soon." They did this every week for a month, then stopped about a month ago. I'm very anxious for these, as well as anxious for the Washington State Death Certificates images (indexed at FamilySearch Record Search), which were also billed as "coming soon" to be released.
