I was just wondering: has anyone heard or read anything new about when the Michigan 1897-1920 death certificates will be put online? A few are up on the Seeking Michigan site, but I haven't seen anymore death certificates posted recently. Thanks.
Is it just me, or are they somewhat difficult to search for over at Seeking Michigan? For instance, you have to know whether to search for the county name as Subject or Description. It's not really clear how to search, and they do not have a list of what is all included so far in a database. It appears that they have only done a few counties and maybe only a few years for the death records database, but it is hard to tell b/c you can't figure out how to search for what.
We are still working on uploading the records and improving the search. The site is live but has not been officially launched yet. We hope to do that during the first or second week of March.
We hope to improve the advanced seek tab so you can search across all fields at once.
